In Japan, the okumi is a flap of tissue that is worn in front of the kimono. The textile covering with its stitching details and folds is a work of ’’haute couture’’ which gives at the same time an effect of lightness and roundness that visually express the feeling of comfort. Structure and base in solid beech wood stained black, anthracite or red.
